Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
As I spent two days in the same hotel I noticed the difference in the two hotel clerks with whom I interacted. The first young lady was bubbly, happy and very friendly.
It seemed like she enjoyed her job. Her positive attitude served her well.
The second clerk was a different story. Although he performed everything I requested, he did it without any joy or engagement with me as a customer.
His service was good, but not excellent as was his peer. The difference was the young lady’s attitude.
King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 3:22, “I have seen that nothing is better than that man should be happy in his activities, for that is his lot.”
If you desire excellence to permeate your workplace, remember the importance of a positive attitude.
