Everyone needs mentors. A mentor has achieved what you want to achieve and is willing to guide you and hold you accountable to get there.
Athletes call them coaches. Students call them tutors. David Alexander with Legacy Impact Network calls these his mountain guides.
Do you have a Paul in your life? If you don’t, please pray for one. Are you a Paul for someone else? I call this the Kingdom Food Chain. One person helps another, who helps another, who helps another.
Paul was a mentor to Timothy. In 2 Timothy 2:1 he wrote, “Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus.”
When choosing leaders, make sure they understand the importance of mentoring. Make sure they keep themselves in the Kingdom Food Chain.
