In 2007, we hosted our first major conference. After we finished, Chip Ingram told me, “Rick, this event had a huge impact, and the enemy is not pleased. You will likely be under attack for a while, but God is with you.”
Almost every appliance we own broke that month. But our faith allowed us to persevere because we knew God was in charge.
In Ephesians 6:16, we read, “Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
