Even though the profiled athletes had amazing talents and power on the field, they strained to effectively manage their money. They struggled with greed, peer competition for the flashiest purchases, and separating their finances from the many people who came forward professing to be friends and supporters.
1 Peter 4:10 says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
As Christ representatives in the workplace, we are called to be good stewards of God’s gifts, both to serve others and to bring them to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
