Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx

As someone who has hired hundreds of speakers, I take seriously the responsibility of hiring someone to speak God’s truths to our network. I’ve experienced the awe of watching Henry Blackaby speak a powerful message from God during the 2008 stock market collapse.
But I’ve also experienced the horror of a speaker offending our audience by speaking to issues I specifically requested not to be addressed. Speaking for God comes with a high responsibility.
In 1 Peter 4:11, Peter wrote, “If anyone speaks, let it be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, let it be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything.”
If you’re hiring someone to speak publicly, remember they, as well as you, are speaking for God.
