Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

I’ve worked in large corporations and in small businesses. Both have advantages and disadvantages, but I personally prefer working in small businesses.

In this series I want to unpack some of the advantages small businesses can leverage. The first advantage is local decision-making authority

When I worked in banking, nothing frustrated customers more than to be told their loan request was denied by a committee in another city. Many customers prefer doing business with a small business or bank where they can reach the CEO who can make decisions.

Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 8:4, “Since a king’s word is supreme, who can say to him, “What are you doing?”

If you’re a small business owner with the authority to make customer decisions, promote that fact to prospective customers.
