Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
As an introvert, I have conversations in my mind that should be shared more frequently with my staff. Sometimes I assume they know more than they do.
But as my wife, Kathy, likes to remind me, “Silence is not good communication.”
Some time ago, I wrote a document about my dreams for Integrity Resource Center to share with a team member. After reading it, he said, “I’ve been trying to get this information out of you for months. I need this information to be more effective.”
Ecclesiastes 3 teaches there is a time for everything, including, “A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; a time to be silent and a time to speak.”
Few words are wise, but I’m learning silence leads to confusion.
