My friend, Steve, shared on video that during his early years in business, he “put God in a box.” When he got into trouble, Steve would ask God to come “out of the box” and help him, otherwise Steve handled the business without involving God much.
During Steve’s tenth year in business his tool and die business landed in bankruptcy. During that time, God made it clear that Steve needed to begin seeking God first, not last. Steve’s willingness to do so resulted in Steve’s business surviving and thriving.
Matthew 6:33 teaches, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
