Recently, Kathy and I found ourselves impacted by Hurricane Helene. After evacuating from the island we were visiting, we secured a downtown Sarasota hotel for three days.
During the height of the hurricane, most restaurants were closed. But one ambitious pizza restaurant owner saw an opportunity due to the weather.
He passed out flyers at hotels and became overwhelmed with orders. He drove in 70 mile per hour winds to deliver pizza.
When some people see risk, other leaders see opportunity.
Ephesians 5:15 teaches, “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
I’m not sure if the pizza man’s risk was worth the sacrifice, but there are opportunities at times that entrepreneurs need to consider.
