Prior to the pandemic, my son, was working for a sheltered workshop. His role was to assemble laboratory kits and scan information for a local laboratory.
When the pandemic forced the sheltered workshop to shut down, the laboratory could not complete their promised shipments to their customers. They understandably chose to pull their business from the sheltered workshop and move it elsewhere.
This year, many companies have had to choose between loyalty to long time suppliers and reliability.
Psalm 12:1 teaches, “Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.”
Having multiple vendors may be prudent for many in the future. Businesses need reliable vendors, but there also needs to be a place for loyalty to previous suppliers as well.
