A key to true business success is pursuing purpose rather than profits. When I was 25, I read about a new concept of renting used cars.

I thought of riches and decided to give the idea a try. One cold morning multiple rental cars wouldn’t start. I realized, then, I was only in it for the money and was miserable.

Years later, I pioneered a faith at work ministry out of purpose and passion. By God’s grace, I’ve been at it successfully for 25 years.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

If you want to succeed in business, discover what God prepared you for and pursue your purpose rather than riches.
