In business, I’ve discovered that there are takers and there are givers. Those people who claim victimhood will often have their hands out looking for help, taking whatever they can from others.

These people often borrow as much money as possible with little care about how they are going to repay the debt.

On the other extreme are those who are generous and have a heart for caring for others. They enjoy generously meeting the needs of the less fortunate. Their generosity reveals a heart far different than takers.

Psalm 37:21 says, “The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives.”

If you were to ask your peers or employees, would they consider you a giver or a taker? God loves and encourages givers!
