During a panel discussion Integrity Resource Center hosted, Steve Darr, former CEO of CTA, Inc., was asked about ways that he shaped the culture of his business. He shared that at each staff meeting every employee recited the mission statement and values of the company.
They found ways to make this exercise fun, but CTA’s leadership wanted to be confident that every employee understood the mission of the organization.
In Luke 4:43, Jesus said, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.”
Jesus consistently communicated His purpose to His disciples. The culture of an organization can go off track very easily by just one wayward employee. That’s why it’s important for each employee to know why your business exists.
