Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

Offering education as a benefit to everyone isn’t always good. A fool doesn’t want to learn.

He may only want grades and diplomas so he doesn’t need to think and work so hard. Perhaps the public schools should have a test that discerns the serious learners from the fools, and only offer school to people who are sincere about learning.

Real education teaches us how to think creatively and work hard. Perhaps this is why uneducated country-folk sometimes out think and outwork city-folk.

In our workplaces, is it possible some people perform better despite our training, not because of it?

Proverbs 17:16 says, “It is senseless to pay to educate a fool, since he has no heart for learning.”

Don’t try to educate a person who doesn’t want to learn.
