This week we’re discussing Carmen Gallo’s three recommendations for developing a pitch for your organization as discussed in the Harvard Business Review. Gallo’s third tip is to “Make sure your team is unified.”
For a message to stick, every member on your team should know and regularly speak the same message. When the message is consistently communicated by all, others outside of your organization will also remember your message.
When Jesus sent the disciples into the surrounding Jewish communities, He taught the disciples in Matthew 10:7, “As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’”
Jesus had one message that He asked His disciples to consistently communicate. If you desire to effectively communicate your organizational message, give your team a simple, clear, and consistent message.
