For a 25-year-old with only three seasons as a starter, that’s a lot of acclaim and praise. Patrick’s football abilities have certainly been tested, but the biggest test he will face is how he handles praise.
Proverbs 27:21 teaches, “The crucible is for silver and the furnace for gold, and each is tested by the praise accorded him.”
