2020 has been a year like none other. Business shutdowns, stay-at-home orders and race riots are just a few of the chaotic events that small business leaders have had to navigate.
Disruption brings anxiety and uncertainty to our staff and to the leadership team of any organization. It’s during these unexpected times that people look to leadership for comfort, confidence and direction.
On these occasions, I have found the Bible to be my best source of peace and hope.
The Psalmist cries out to God in Psalm 119:114, “You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.”
Just like the Psalmist, during these chaotic times, we need to turn to the Word of God for our hope and direction. God’s Word is our refuge!
