As an employer, your workplace can be negatively impacted by the sins of your employees. Joshua worked through such a situation when Achan sinned.
The phases that Joshua went through are instructive for us who may have to address similar concerns. The first phase is the warning.
God gave Joshua specific instructions to share with Israel and what the consequences might be.
In Joshua 6:18 we read, “But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it.”
A wise leader communicates their values and warns their team of the potential consequences if violated. When you do, the responsibility shifts to your employees.
