Surprisingly, there’s one thing Republicans and Democrats agreed on recently; the impact small businesses have on America. When research firm, Gallup, asked about which institutions have the greatest positive impact on American society, small businesses won hands down.

85% of survey respondents named small business as having the most positive impact on society, beating out churches, the military, and large companies. 84% of Democrats agreed as did 89% of Republicans.

Another important fact is the gap between the trust in small business versus the next closest institution; the military. Small business won by 26%.

Proverbs 22:1 teaches, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.”

The trust people have for small businesses should be leveraged in our marketing when possible.
