In his book, “Revering God,” author Thaddeus J. Williams claims the most frequently repeated phrase in the Bible is the expression, “Thus says the Lord.” Williams says the phrase appears in the Old and New Testaments more than 400 times.
It’s a reminder, Williams writes, that God speaks regularly.
Proverbs 4:20-22 says: “My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.”
Whatever you are facing at work today, take the time to ask God for guidance. He is speaking, and he has eternal wisdom for you when you stop to listen.
