When my wife, Kathy, and I work together on a project we're a good team. Kathy's a great catalyst to get a project going, while I make sure all the details and pertinent information is gathered.

When we were receiving bids on a home project, Kathy secured multiple bids. But before the final selection I asked to see all the bids.

It turned out that there was a question about sales tax that Kathy didn't know to ask. By asking the right questions we saved money and educated our contractor on how to save his other customers money as well.

Proverbs 18:15 says, "An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge."

Before making important decisions it's crucial to ask the right questions and listen carefully.
