King Jehoshaphat was a leader who demonstrated faith in God not only in word but in action. 2 Chronicles 20:18 says, “Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord.”
King Jehoshaphat lead Judah by example. He wanted his kingdom to revere God. The kingdom followed his lead when he chose to align his priorities with God’s. The kingdom submitted to God’s authority because Jehoshaphat first lead by his humbled example.
