During one of our virtual events, Dr. Richard Blackaby shared about a CEO of a publicly traded company. This CEO had been asked to approve a marketing campaign that glorified sexual immorality.
This CEO’s staff challenged him to dismiss his religious beliefs and instead focus on increasing shareholders value. The CEO called Dr. Blackaby for counsel, seeking insight on how best to Biblically respond.
Wisely, Dr. Blackaby said, “I think you already know what you should do.”
God told Joshua in Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Over the years, I’ve also counseled many who know right from wrong. What they’re really looking for is the courage to do the right thing.
