A recent article from the Lean Methods Group states, “Every day, 2.5 quintillion bytes of data are created.” Accessibility to incredible amounts of information feels paralyzing. Metrics, reports, figures to analyze, presentations to peruse. But where is Truth?
As a nation, our familiarity and intimacy with the Truth of the Bible has woefully sunk into the sea of bytes. We ping “to and fro,” satiating the hunger for the most current news.
Daniel 12:4b says, “Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
Are you at a point where you need an information sabbatical? Do the answers to your challenges lay buried beneath the layers of data already at your fingertips? Spend time in an “information free zone” and take time to fill your mind with God’s truth.
