A friend shared with me that under previous administrations his industry was weighed down with lots of rules and regulations. But under President Trump, many regulations were eliminated, leading to robust business growth.
He fears the pendulum is likely to swing back again to burdensome regulations.
Bear with me. Businesses are often rules-oriented, but, they can be more values-based. Many studies have discovered that values-based organizations tend to outperform those that are rules based.
Jesus set us free from the law. Galatians 5:1 teaches, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
Some rules may be necessary, but when your business is values-driven, your people will feel trusted and free to prosper.
