Our workplaces are full of people who have some form of father wounds. Some never had a father in the home so they may wrestle with abandonment issues.
Others experienced abusive or frequently absent fathers, resulting in a different set of problems. By realizing that some of your employees have father wounds that may distort their perception of God, we can sometimes be used by God to bring healing.
As shepherds, we have an opportunity to show them the love of our Heavenly Father.
Jesus said in John 15:9, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.”
As a loving boss, if we follow Jesus’ model, we can bring the love of God to those who never experienced love from their earthly father.
