The organization was disappointed when a planned business acquisition fell through. Teams had dedicated hundreds of hours to organizing the transaction and working to finalize it. So, when it fell apart, the organization experienced a great sense of frustration and disappointment.
But that disappointment was forgotten when a new opportunity arrived two years later. The new transaction brought significantly more benefits to customers, employees, and owners. At that point, no one was grieving the failure of the earlier opportunity.
Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
If your plans fail, consider if it is because God has something far better planned for you.
