Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx

Jack was frustrated that his big plans for his business kept hitting roadblocks. It felt like every time he tried to move in a new direction; he fell backwards. He continually prayed for God to bless his plans, but those prayers weren’t answered as Jack desired.
Eventually he asked his Forum group for their counsel. One member gently suggested that perhaps God was not punishing him but growing him through those setbacks. He pointed Jack to Hebrews 12:10: “They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.”
What we sometimes consider failure actually may be a path to building long-term holiness and a closer relationship with God.
