A friend asked me to participate in an intervention years ago. We met with a Christian leader who was threatening to leave his family to run off with someone from his church.
Never had I witnessed how easily evil could overtake someone who had previously taught God’s Word. I was amazed when he stated that God wanted him to leave his wife and kids to be with this other woman.
Evil so consumed him that he refused to repent. His family and ministry were destroyed.
James 1:13 teaches, “God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.”
Don’t allow anyone to blame God when it’s their evil desires to blame.
