A retired CEO asked recently if I’m seeing more acceptance for faith in the workplace. I shared that most publicly traded companies prefer to avoid the subject of faith altogether, but small independent businesses are different.
A good example is found in a press release I read recently. When discussing his company’s growth plans, Darris Stoll in South Carolina said, “At Stoll Industries, we believe our mission…is to be intentional in our actions, building an environment of honesty and faith that creates a platform for God in the workplace.”
This sort of press release would be unlikely in most publicly traded organizations.
Psalm 34:3 says, “Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.”
Let’s remember that large and small organizations can both glorify the Lord!
