Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

In this series, we are looking at five traits common to successful entrepreneurs. Today’s trait is Loving Accountability.

Holding ourselves and our partners accountable is essential in launching a startup business. Successful entrepreneurs constantly monitor progress towards the goal, identify shortcomings and demand action to address root causes.

Ephesians 4:15 tells us to speak the truth in love. The unconventional entrepreneur’s motivation in accountability is not only the success of their venture, but also the strengthening and success of each member of their team.

From Proverbs 27:6, we know that “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”

No combination of skills will guarantee success, but rightly practicing vision, empathy, humility, diligence and accountability can help us love God and our neighbors through our work.
