The past 2016 Olympic Games inspired Matt. He found himself lifting weights more, eating healthier, and challenging his family to various simulated, family-friendly Olympic events.
The Olympics in Rio reminded Matt of the importance of being physically and mentally fit as it relates to his ability to lead others towards greatness. In Matt’s quest for “leadership gold,” he has implemented a Leadership F.I.T.T. program into his daily routine.
F.I.T.T. is an acronym that stands for: “Fortitude” “Intellectual” “Temple” and “Thanksgiving”.
1 Corinthians 6:20 teaches about having fit bodies. It says, “You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
For us to lead healthy groups and organizations, we first have to be FITT. Join us next week as we highlight the traits of a FITT leader.
