Like Billy Graham said years ago, I believe the next great revival will likely come through the marketplace. But revival will not come without repentance and a healthy fear of God.
On July 8, 1741, Jonathan Edwards delivered his famous sermon entitled, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.” Edwards was concerned that our nation had turned from the piety of his Puritan ancestors. His sermon helped fuel the greatest revival in America.
Edwards based his sermon on Hebrews 10 which teaches, “The Lord will judge his people. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
If we desire to see a revival in the workplaces of America, let us begin with repenting from our sins and nurturing a healthy fear of God.
