In my early years of ministry, any faith discussions I had with large organizations were quickly squashed by the HR department. The tide is changing.
A recent article in Personnel Today, titled, “How to create an inclusive workplace for religion,” outlines steps for HR professionals to build a more faith-friendly culture.
At the article’s closing, the author writes, “For people to bring their whole self to work, they need to feel safe to be who they are. An employee’s religious identity or their belief may be a source of resilience and motivation for them.”
Psalm 119:80 says, “May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame.”
Our workplaces would be much better if everyone brought their whole selves to work, including their faith-driven ethics.
