Once, a serial entrepreneur shared with me how he was able to start several successful businesses without having any experience in those industries. His key was to find the best people who modeled excellence in that industry and then go study their methods.
Although the word “excellence” may be lacking in the Bible, the concept of excellence is assuredly modeled by God.
Psalm 111 teaches, “Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them. Splendid and majestic is His work.”
God models excellence by doing work that is so majestic that those who delight in His work want to study the result. If you desire excellence in your business, do work that is so excellent that others want to study what you’ve accomplished.
