Recently, my wife and I visited the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington D.C. On the north wall of the memorial, Dr. King was quoted as saying, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of convenience and comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

Unfortunately, our nation has been experiencing some of the racial tension and controversy recently that Dr. King fought so ardently against.

Micah 6:8 teaches, “And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

As followers of Jesus, we should be men and women of peace and justice like Dr. King. Those values and beliefs lived out daily can transform your workplace.
