According to a May Fortune magazine article, worker productivity is at its lowest level since 1948. We have seen five straight quarters of decline, meaning businesses are producing far less sales from the hours worked

There are multiple and conflicting reasons for this situation, but two possibilities include fear and/or laziness.

Proverbs 22:13 says, “The sluggard says, “There is a lion outside! I shall be killed in the streets!”

This means either someone is fearful and doesn’t try to work, or they’re lazy and use excuses to avoid work.

Post-Covid, our workplaces are full of anxious people. But I believe there are also some who use remote work as a ruse to get paid for doing less than expected.

To improve our productivity, we need to discover our underlying issues.
