Many organizations, including our ministry, use surveys to determine ways to improve their services. The tension is determining legitimate issues that need to be addressed versus those multiple issues raised by rare people, who I like to say, “have the spiritual gift of criticism.”
In Acts 6, the Apostles received a complaint. In verse 1 we read, “A complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution.”
The apostles determined this to be a legitimate complaint. Desiring God’s best for the church, the apostles improved the functioning of the church by selecting deacons to serve these newly discovered needs.
To have continuous improvement in your business, identify the issues, discern the legitimate ones, then take action to improve those legitimate issues.
