Imagine the complexity of decisions that the Tik Tok CEO had to make the weekend of January 18th. Congress and the Supreme Court ruled that Tik Tok had to sell or close its operations in the United States.
Risking thousands of jobs and businesses, Tik Tok closed. But then President Trump claimed he would find a way to keep Tik Tok open, so Tik Tok reopened, risking billions in fines.
I don’t know what decision making steps Tik Tok’s CEO took, but it had to be a gut-wrenching weekend.
In Psalm 25:12 we read about King David’s decision-making approach, “Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.”
The Lord knows all. Complex decisions are best made on our knees.
