Along with the Covid pandemic and the many other challenges we have endured in 2020, we also were given some opportunities. One of those opportunities for generous people came in the form of the CARES Act.
To help nonprofits, Congress chose to provide some one-time tax benefits for those who choose to be generous in 2020.
For instance, in 2020 you can give up to 100% of your adjusted gross income to your favorite charities, and corporations can increase giving from 10% of income to 25%.
Galatians 6:10 teaches, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
If God has blessed you with much, 2020 may be your opportunity to “do good” for the family of believers.
