In the book of Malachi, God criticized the Israelites for the ways they dishonored Him. They were no longer tithing or bringing unblemished sacrifices, just to name two of the ways God was disrespected.
Despite the majority of Israel treating God poorly, there were those who esteemed God enough to be noted in what God called the Book of Remembrance.
In Malachi 3:16, we read, “Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name.”
You may suffer ridicule at times by the marketplace, but you will be eternally remembered and rewarded if you fear God and honor His name.
