Since December is the biggest giving month of the year, let’s discuss being a Giver this week, using GIVER as an acronym. The R stands for Replicate.
As my friend, Bob, moved towards semi-retirement, he realized that he had a stewardship responsibility to assure that his kids and grandkids understood how to be generous givers, and, to perpetuate the generosity of their family. Their family business and foundation have funded many ministries for years.
His intentionality has resulted in the creation of a whole new generation of generous givers in their family and business!
Ephesians 6:4 teaches, “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
As God teaches you to be generous, don’t overlook the responsibility to teach others.
