In my opinion, one of the most resolved leaders of our day is Jack Phillips. Mr. Phillips and his Masterpiece Cakeshop in Colorado were sued because he refused to design cakes that honored homosexual marriage.
Although Mr. Phillips won his case at the Supreme Court level, he continues to be sued and attacked by people who keep trying to destroy his bakery, due to his Christian beliefs. Yet, he continues to stand with resolve and courage against the constant attacks.
In Daniel 1:8, we read about someone else who had incredible resolve, “But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank.”
Unconventional leaders believe resolve and courage are required to stand against a corrupt and immoral world.
