When we’re lacking in rest we’re not as likely to take the necessary stands to do our job well.
A recent study in the Harvard Business Review noted that high-performing executives get more sleep than others typically do. The study discovered that executives typically get seven to nine hours of sleep, while nonexecutives sleep less than seven.
Leviticus 23:3 says, “‘For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work.”
If you want to do your work well, be sure to get adequate rest.
