Late business leader and author Peter Drucker suggested, “In order to grow, a business must have a systematic policy to get rid of the outgrown, the obsolete, the unproductive.”

Drucker believed that knowing what not to do is as essential to success as knowing what to do. And knowing when to stop is just as imperative as knowing when to begin.

Psalm 34:14 says, “Turn away from evil and do what is right! Strive for peace and promote it!”

As Drucker pointed out, knowing what not to do and taking the steps to change are a necessary part of growth. What decisions must be made to eliminate the outgrown, obsolete and unproductive processes that exist in your business? What step can you take today to move from stagnation to growth?
