Many people have been brainwashed to believe that their job isn’t important to God unless they are a pastor or missionary. Due to this flawed view, I have worked hard to change this mindset.
In an article on Christiantoday.com subtitled, “If I Don’t Love My Job, Does That Mean It’s Not God’s Will For Me?” In this article, the author reminds us that Jesus had a job that got so difficult, He considered quitting. But His job was God’s will and too important to quit.
In Luke 22:42 Jesus cried out to God, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”
Pursue God’s will for your vocation, but remember, sometimes God’s will is a “good” work that is also “hard” work.
