One thing we shouldn’t do is pine for the past. It may be tempting to get nostalgic about “the good old days” and desire a simpler time. But the writer of Ecclesiastes pointed out the foolishness of that approach.
“Do not say, ‘Why were the old days better than these?’ For it is not wise to ask such questions.” (Ecclesiastes 7:10)
Whatever you face, focus on God’s plan and will for your work. He can provide the wisdom, strength, and confidence to get through whatever challenge confronts you today.
