Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx

Although Len had earned his retirement, the organization was distressed when he departed because of the wisdom and experience that he took with him when he went. Through years of service in various roles in the company, through highs and lows, good times and bad, Len had acquired a perspective and wisdom that would be difficult to replace.
Hebrews 5:14 says, “But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.”
Wisdom comes through experience, amplified by prayer and obedience to God’s word and attention to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Acquiring wisdom in that way may feel like a time-consuming process, but the result is a deep wisdom that benefits organizations for years to come.
