A past New American magazine article claimed George Washington Carver, counter to many in the scientific community, believed he could have faith in God and science. Carver also poured his faith into others in uncommon ways.

In 1906, while at Tuskegee, Carver began leading a Bible class on Sunday’s. He would often act out the Bible stories.

When others criticized his unique teaching style, Carver stated, “When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world.”

In Matthew 5:11 Jesus said, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”

God’s ways are uncommon. Don’t fear doing business in God’s unique way. You may change the world.
