For decades, breaking the 4-minute mile seemed impossible. Then in 1954, Roger Bannister accomplished the impossible.
Over 1600 people have since broken the 4-minute mile. Just as we put mental limits on what we believe is possible, we can also limit God.
As Elisha watched his mentor, Elijah, frequently unleash God's power, Elisha acquired the boldness to do likewise. Elisha modeled the same for his servant.
In 2 Kings 6:17, Elisha was surrounded by enemies, when we read, "Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."
One thing we can do for those we mentor is to give them an unlimited view of God, by sharing what God has done for us personally.
